30 Years of IDF

The Immune Deficiency Foundation was started 30 years ago by families of children with primary immunodeficiency diseases who decided that thousands of others with primary immunodeficiency diseases deserved better.
“We have created a voice for a community that didn’t have one,” said Marcia Boyle, President & Founder of IDF. “30 years later, and we are still creating opportunities to help members of our community build a better life, and it’s made possible by a strong network of support through our dedicated volunteers, medical community and our generous supporters who really make things happen.”
It is with the spirit and energy of this keen perspective that IDF exists today, thriving as a patient-focused organization dedicated to patients living with primary immunodeficiency diseases.
