IDF & USIDNET LeBien Visiting Professor Program
The LeBien Visiting Professor Program promotes improved knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases. Teaching hospitals throughout the United States may request a leading clinical immunologist to lead Grand Rounds or present at other educational activities, such as bedside rounds or house staff and/or medical residents conferences.
The benefits of the IDF & USIDNET LeBien Visiting Professor Program include:
- Available to teaching hospitals throughout the United States
- Expert clinical immunologists to lead grand rounds and other educational activities
- Increases knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases
- Free to the participating hospital
IDF is currently accepting Letters of Request for the IDF & USIDNET LeBien Visiting Professor Program for 2012.

If you are interested in participating in this exciting program, please the call the Immune Deficiency Foundation at 800.296.4433, or Email Diana Gill, Director, Program Services at dgill@primaryimmune.org by January 15, 2012, stating your desire to participate in the program. The letter should include a tentative list of teaching activities and information on how your training program would benefit from a visiting professorship.
The LeBien Visiting Professor Program is funded by the IDF Core Service Sponsors: Baxter Healthcare, Biotest Pharmaceuticals, CSL Behring, Grifols, IgG America/ASD Healthcare/US Bioservices, Octapharma, as well as the United States Immunodeficiency Network (USIDNET), a research consortium established to advance scientific research in the field of primary immunodeficiency disorders.
