IDF Plasma Center Partners Program

The majority of individuals with a diagnosed primary immunodeficiency disease have defects in their immune system’s ability to make antibodies to fight infections and rely on immunoglobulin replacement therapy (Ig). This is a plasma-based therapy to replace the antibodies their bodies cannot make, and protects them from life-threatening infections. Ig therapy is life-long, and there is no other treatment available.

Through this connection, the Immune Deficiency Foundation has enjoyed a strong relationship with plasma centers throughout the United States. We appreciate their commitment to the collection of high-quality plasma, and establishing the highest levels of safety and quality assurances. Our association with plasma center staff members, plasma donors, and our own volunteers who visit the centers has grown strong over the years to develop into the IDF Plasma Center Partners program.
