Make Your Voice Heard in Washington, DC
Let’s join our voices on Capitol Hill for the annual IDF Advocacy Day! Held this year in conjunction with the IDF 2019 National Conference, IDF Advocacy Day is essential in educating House and Senate members, and their staff, about issues impacting the people with primary immunodeficiency diseases (PI), including access to care.

IDF will provide you information on federal issues pertinent to the PI community. We will also give you tips on how to prepare and share your personal story to convey what it’s really like living with PI and the barriers our community can face. You will implement your skills throughout the day as you meet with elected officials on the Hill.
This event is open individuals with PI ages 15 and older as well as parents/caregivers of a person with PI. To engage the next generation, IDF is encouraging teens and young adults to participate in IDF Advocacy Day through Stand Up for PI: Teen and Young Adult Advocacy Program. This program allows IDF to expand our typical Advocacy Day. Adults are encouraged and welcome to attend; we want to, however, invite teens and young adults to get involved and take part too!
No matter your age, your participation will help increase the awareness and support for IDF supported legislation.
To register, go to www.idfnationalconference.org, create an account or log in, and during registration select “IDF Advocacy Day” on Thursday.
