IDF Advocacy Workshop 2019 – Massachusetts
Do you or a loved one have a primary immunodeficiency disease (PI), live in Massachusetts and want to strengthen your advocacy skills? On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, IDF will be hosting a state advocacy workshop in Boston, MA for members of the PI community.
This interactive workshop will give you a chance to become an informed, skilled volunteer. Throughout the training that morning, participants will learn how to conduct meetings with elected representatives and discuss issues and bills affecting the PI community. That afternoon, participants will be addressed by Massachusetts State representatives, get to observe a hearing in the state legislature for a bill impacting the PI community, and use their newfound advocacy skills to meet with elected representatives.
At the end of the day, advocates will be prepared and ready for future issues. Spaces are limited so, if you live in Massachusetts and want to enhance your advocacy skills, register today!
