Closing Out 2012 in Kansas City and Nashville

Kansas City and Nashville were the sites of the final Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) Patient Education Meetings of the year! On Saturday, December 8, 60 attendees in Kansas City and 50 in Nashville met with healthcare professionals to learn about living with primary immunodeficiency diseases and to connect with others in their respective areas. These events close out a big year for IDF patient meetings, which included:

  • 19 Patient Education Meetings
  • 16 Get Connected Meetings
  • 4 Family Conference Days

In total, 70 doctors presented at 39 total meetings with 1,680 patients attending meetings throughout the country! 2012 was an awesome year!

IDF appreciates all those who make patient meetings possible – patients, family members, volunteers, healthcare professionals and sponsors. These vital meetings help change the lives of those living with primary immunodeficiency diseases.

Diane and Joel Buckberg attended the Nashville meeting and brought the proclamation signed by the Tennessee Governor declaring April 2012 PIDD Awareness Month.
