Double Columbia – IDF Meetings in Columbia, MD and Columbia, SC

Hosting two IDF Patients Education Meetings in one day is not a rare occurrence, but two meetings in two cities with the same name on the same day? That has to be a first!

The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) held Patient Education Meetings in both Columbia, MD and Columbia, SC, December 1. The meetings gathered patients and families living with primary immunodeficiency diseases to learn more and connect with others. IDF hosted 80 people in Maryland and 33 in South Carolina.

At the Maryland meeting, volunteer Marty Cowan and her son, Clayton, presented IDF President & Founder Marcia Boyle with a check for $1,400 from their 2nd Annual Turkey Trot Run, which they hosted on Thanksgiving to benefit IDF.

Maryland volunteers were: Catherine Bourassa, Marty Cowen, Karen and Bryan Jirsa, Judy Kozulak, and Sharon Walton. South Carolina volunteers were: Sally Blumenburg, Victoria McCallum, Xan and Kaitlyn Moseley, and Brian and Claudia Pope. Sessions included:
