Keeping safe from COVID-19 at IDF in-person events

The health and safety of all participants is of paramount importance to IDF as we return to in-person events.

IDF event guidelines follow minimum federal requirements and consider more stringent state and local guidelines and those of the venue to ensure the safety of all attendees.
The most up-to-date guidance for safe operations at in-person events can be found on the CDC's website.
To attend an indoor event, all attendees over the age of 5 must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination when collecting their registration badge.
IDF highly recommends that attendees also have their booster shots.
Attendees with medical or religious exemptions must notify IDF during registration and provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, preferably a PCR test taken within 24 hours of arrival, or an FDA-approved antigen test if PCR is not feasible.
During an indoor event, all attendees, including staff and volunteers, must wear a mask at all times, except when eating or drinking.
Attendees should practice social distancing when meals or refreshments are served, and presenters may remove their masks when speaking, provided they maintain a six-foot distance from others.
IDF reserves the right to implement additional requirements or shift to a completely virtual event in the event of a substantial increase in COVID-19 transmission rates in the county or surrounding counties.
Vendors, venues, and other contractors must confirm that their on-site staff comply with safety protocols, including being fully vaccinated or providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test and wearing a mask during the event.
For outdoor events, masks are mandatory when social distancing is not possible, and accommodations will be provided to attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing to ensure clear communication.
Overall, IDF's guidelines prioritize the health and safety of all attendees and comply with the CDC's recommendations to ensure the success of in-person events.
