CGD Emergency Relief Fund Now Available

August 16, 2017

Individuals and families living with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) have another resource to help them. The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) recently established the CGD Emergency Relief Fund, which offers small grants to families or individuals diagnosed with CGD and in need of financial support when faced with limited resources to pay for unexpected or emergency expenses.

This program is designed to help patients who:

  • Are a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident of six (6) months or greater with evidence of residency such as a utility bill showing the patient’s name and address.
  • Have a diagnosis of Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD).
  • Fall within the Program’s financial guidelines and adhere to application requirements that are set in advance by NORD.
