The Assistance Fund, a charitable patient assistance organization founded in 2009, is currently accepting new patient enrollments for those with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD). The program provides financial assistance for prescription drug costs, health insurance premiums, therapy administration costs, lab/genetic testing, treatment-related travel costs, and disease management.
In addition to a patient portal that guides users through the application process, there is also information for providers, patient stories, and a list of other conditions that are eligible for funds.
To be eligible, participants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, diagnosed with CGD, prescribed an FDA-approved treatment, have prescription coverage for the prescribed treatments, and meet financial eligibility criteria.
