Discovering what you want to do with your life isn’t an easy task for anyone, especially for those with a chronic condition. While there may not be a step-by-step guide for figuring it all out, there is some help in this process. #RAREis Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications from adults living with rare diseases (17+), including chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). These scholarships can help create new opportunities for exploration and growth for the CGD and entire primary immunodeficiency communities.
In its first year, the #RAREis Scholarship Fund will provide $5,000 grants to 32 U.S. adults living with rare diseases, including primary immunodeficiencies, to pursue a variety of educational activities. Horizon’s partner, EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases, has implemented and will manage the scholarship, with a $1 million, five-year commitment from Horizon, announced earlier this year.
