The Immune Deficiency Foundation’s official mascot, TZ the IDF Zebra, got the chance to visit and train with Horizon Pharma for this year's IDF Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency!
The video features TZ putting Horizon employees to work with a series of drills, all to make sure they are ready for the walks held across the country this fall.
Horizon, a National Sponsor of IDF Walk for PI, is challenging the PI community to share this video. For each retweet and share, Horizon will donate $1 to IDF! This is an easy way to help make an impact of IDF Walk for PI.
Thank you to Horizon Pharma for their support of IDF Walk for PI and the PI community!
LivingwithCGD.org, a program of the Immune Deficiency Foundation, is made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Horizon Pharma.
About TZ the IDF Zebra
TZ the IDF Zebra is the official mascot of the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF). TZ's name was inspired by the IDF THINK ZEBRA! campaign. Members of the primary immunodeficiency (PI) community often identify with zebras. This is based on an old saying. In medical school, many doctors learn the saying, "when you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras" and are taught to focus on the likeliest possibilities when making a diagnosis, not the unusual ones. However, sometimes physicians need to look for a zebra. Individuals with PI are the zebras of the medical world. IDF and TZ encourage the world to THINK ZEBRA! and join the fight towards a better future for people with PI. Follow TZ on Instagram and Twitter.
