Become a Better Informed, More Active Advocate for the PI Community

June 29, 2020

IDF Virtual Advocacy Workshop 2020

Do you or a loved one have a primary immunodeficiency (PI) and want to strengthen your advocacy skills? This fall, IDF will be hosting three Virtual Advocacy Workshops for members of the PI community living in California, New York, and Ohio.

These interactive workshops will give participants a chance to become informed, skilled volunteer advocates. Throughout the live training webinar, which will be held during the evening, participants will learn how to conduct meetings with elected representatives and discuss issues and bills affecting the PI community. Two days after the training, participants will then have the opportunity to use their newfound advocacy skills to “meet” with state-level elected representatives in that state by taking part in scheduled conference calls.

At the conclusion of each workshop, advocates will be prepared and ready for future issues in their state. Mark your calendars today!
