Hi, there! I'm TZ the IDF Zebra, and I’m here to give you some tips & tricks to help you make IDF Walk for PI 2017 a complete and total success. Before we get started, it’s important to remember to have fun and get creative when it comes to raising these vital funds!

Fundraising 101: Getting Started

  • Set a Goal: The average walker raises $125. Consider a goal that raises the bar and goes beyond the average walker. Don’t forget you can earn a variety of awesome prizes – from a walk t-shirt for raising $100 to many more prizes!
  • Personalize Your Personal Fundraising Page: Share your story! Make an impact through your fundraising web page by including a personal photo or video. Telling your story to those in your network helps them understand why it's important to support you and the entire community.
  • Know Your Network: Make a list of 10 people who would consider giving $10. Yes, you do know 10 people who would consider giving $10! (Hint: You’ll be on your way to your first $100!)
  • Make the Ask: Use e-mail, social media or even the classic personal phone call to share why IDF Walk for PI is important to you. This is your opportunity to get the conversation going about PI, all while raising funds for a better future. Check out our Tips and Tricks page for some helpful fundraising strategies.

Thank you again for joining IDF in our mission to bring together an entire community to make a difference for generations to come. Don’t forget to share your progress on social media and tag me (Instagram and Twitter) in your posts and use the hashtags #WalkforPI, #THINKZEBRA and #ZEBRASTRONG!
