The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) was founded in 1980 by one woman with a newly diagnosed (and chronically ill) child in search of answers. Today, IDF is the primary source for patients to find those answers.
Whether you've been recently diagnosed, have been living with a primary immunodeficiency (PI) for years, or just think you might have a PI, we are here to help. While PI has no cure, there are lifesaving treatments available that can improve your quality of life.

Our programs are meant to connect, engage, and empower families to live longer, stronger, healthier lives. And you can join us this Giving Tuesday to support these critical programs. Connect - We never want those living with PI to feel alone, and your donation will help us to connect the IDF community through Get Connected Groups, IDF Peer Connection, and more!
-
Engage – We are stronger together and we believe that every PI community member plays a meaningful role in making a difference for current and future generations with PI. Whether this is through volunteering at Walk for PI or becoming a Plasma Hero ambassador, every action helps!
-
Empower - To overcome healthcare barriers, IDF retains a robust advocacy program, where we teach community members how to support policies related to PI.
