The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) is coming Back to Baltimore June 27-29 for the IDF 2013 National Conference, and local media is taking notice. President & Founder Marcia Boyle had the opportunity to promote the conference and primary immunodeficiency awareness on Baltimore TV station WJZ. The program, “On Time” with host Kai Jackson, will air June 23, and it will focus on the history of IDF and the difference the organization has made in the lives of thousands of people living with primary immunodeficiency diseases across the country.
Kai was interested to learn more about IDF's THINK ZEBRA! campaign and how important it is to educate physicians about the signs and symptoms of primary immunodeficiency diseases.
Marcia shared details of the upcoming national conference that will bring together nearly 1,200 community members, including patients, family members, healthcare professionals and supporters, to share, discuss and learn from one another.
The segment will air on Sunday, June 23 at 6:30 a.m. on WJZ TV in Baltimore and will be posted on our website the following week.
