The Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) engages in advocacy issues that impact individuals with compromised immune systems which includes the primary immunodeficiency disease (PI) community. Efforts include educating legislators and other decision makers on the impact that policies related to antibiotic resistance and vaccine use have on the PI community. IDF is able to advocate on issues and share the unique perspective of the PI community regarding these important public health initiatives.

The Immune Deficiency Foundation improves the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by primary immunodeficiency through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education, and research.
