The Immune Deficiency Foundation is pleased to provide the presentations from the IDF 2015 National Conference. All sessions are listed on our National Conference Presentations page, and the majority of the presentations can be accessed, however not all presentations are available. We appreciate the work of all IDF National Conference presenters, and we hope the primary immunodeficiency community can learn from the valuable content shared.
Now is the time to make sure the unified voice of the IDF community is heard! IDF Advocacy Channel uses social media to communicate the powerful message of our patients and their stories to impact policy decisions. Focusing on patient advocacy on behalf of breaking public policy issues, this channel activates our patient volunteers and family members by sharing their personal stories.
IDF Reel Stories is a video community designed to encourage and empower fellow patients and their loved ones. Viewers are able to select from a robust playlist of video testimonials that touch us on some level – whether as individuals, families or as members of the IDF community. The video stories cover a wide array of issues and topics, and can be searched by Status, Patient Life Stage, Messages, Disorders, and Treatment Options.

The IDF ePHR is an electronic personal health record for patients with primary immunodeficiency diseases that will help you store, track, share and organize your health information. The IDF ePHR video channel contains helpful hints to successfully use the IDF ePHR in several how-to videos, and also includes educational videos that explain all of the offerings of IDF ePHR and PI CONNECT.
The IDF Common Ground Talk Show discusses the facts, myths, hopes and fears that young adults living with primary immunodeficiency diseases face, while celebrating accomplishments, achievements and the ability to live life as a “normal” teenager. Topics include: Dealing with Transitions, Treatment Options, the Fear of Getting Sick and Missing School, Peer Pressure and Making Good Choices, Making Friends and When to Tell a Friend about your PI, and Dating, Privacy and Personal Boundaries.
In Tune with Your Immune System is a video for teens that compares the human immune system to a rock band; it needs all the parts functioning to make great music! A battle of the bands occurs when the bad band–featuring bacteria, viruses and fungi– arrives and tries to prove who the best band is. Great fun while being a valuable educational resource.
