Start your fundraiser today!

Getting started

It’s simple! Create a personalized web page on IDF’s fundraising website. It should include the details of your unique event or activity. Then share it across social media so your friends, family, and community can participate.

Tips to get your network to donate

Your community network will want to know why they should donate to IDF through your fundraiser. So share your story to tell everyone why supporting IDF means so much to you.

Sample social media post:

Hi friends and family! I am excited to host a (name of event) fundraiser for the Immune Deficiency Foundation, and I want to tell you why. This organization means a lot to me because (share your story here). IDF has helped me by (name examples), and I would like to give back, but I need your help. Every amount makes a difference. Please join me for this important fundraiser and consider donating to IDF. I thank you for your support of my fundraising goals.

Another option is to ask for IDF donations instead of a birthday or holiday gift.

The importance of donating to your own fundraiser

As the fundraising host, you set the example. Donating to your own fundraiser is a great way to jumpstart your campaign and show your friends and family you truly are passionate about making a difference for everyone in the PI community.

How to collect donations

It is usually preferred to collect credit card donations through IDF’s fundraising website. You can also take checks and cash donations if you wish. Checks should be made out to Immune Deficiency Foundation and include a note about which fundraiser the donation should be applied to.
