IDF community member, Suzy Loomis jumped at the opportunity to participate with an internal group at her work that matched gifts based on the charitable contributions made by their employees. Thanks to Suzy identifying the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) as an organization that she wanted to match, IDF received a donation of $200 from her employer!
Suzy states, “I selected IDF as it is near and dear to my family. Our daughter was diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency (PI) and other things at the age of two but started having issues a week after birth. We have benefited from the website, books, classes, Facebook pages, college scholarship, and insurance information provided by IDF. Our daughter has been on subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG) therapy for eight and a half years and now is a junior in college. If not for our doctors and IDF, I’m not sure we would have known where to go or what to do. We continue to utilize resources and reach out as needed.”
If you wish to double or even triple your impact to those living with PI as Suzy did, consider taking advantage of your company’s matching gift program.
