Making needle pokes easier for the CGD community

May 13, 2020

Interferon (IFN) gamma is sometimes used in conjunction with antibiotics and other treatments as a preventative against infection for people with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD). It is given by injection, usually several times per week. For some patients and parents, these needle pokes can be incredibly hard. If you are one of these individuals, join one of Angel Aid Care’s webinars featuring Pamela Alma Weymouth, MSW, on May 27 at 9 PM EDT, or May 30 at 2 pm EDT and learn about Trauma-Less Needle Pokes: 7 Steps to Easier Injections, Blood Draws and IVs. This webinar is for people of all ages (parents, patients, caregivers) and is designed with the CGD community in mind. Sign up here for one of these webinars.
